It's good value for the money, even being refurbished, so as long as it remains reliable in the long term it's well w orth it. Huge storage for 299 in the UK (Feb 2022). This particular drive has no power/activity light, so when it's plugged in it still visually appears to be off (my older drive does have that light). When I recently needed some extra backup storage I opted for the Western Digital 16TB External Hard Drive. Quiet drive and very good transfer speeds.
